Crowing
I love wetlands. Swamps, marshes, bogs... I could spend all day exploring them. They're some of my favorite ecosystems! Even with the mosquitos... Begrudgingly

I can watch wetlands all day long on TV. As long as I don’t get my feet wet. There’s no marshes at 15,000 feet (just saying) but a big nimbus cloud cover can really wet your wings!I love wetlands. I found 11 today....a month ago, I was lucky to get 2. They'll start...unexpectedly...or they'll hide them from you...They really are dumplings!
And wow, an egg. Geez I really wish someone here would lay an egg. I don't need many - just a couple a week would be fine. But nope.
Yes that is correct - rodents are more likely to be eaten way before they 'catch' anything.Yes. I am careful.
I am vaccinated and have my antibodies checked every year. And when I am exposed I get the post exposure shots.
My usual exposure is bats who somehow find their way into the house. That means all the cats and I need shots!
Apparently rodents are less likely to get rabies, not impossible but less likely, so I was advised I didn't need to go through the shots for the flying squirrel visitor.
Wish I could send you a few dozen (like 10 dozen....)They really are dumplings!

Yes that is what happened here all of a sudden. The ones who were moulting started back up, and of course the days are starting to get longer. Plus I am out at the barn at 4am so the lights go on about then, and then I am back up at the house by 6am, but I leave a light on in the Summer House otherwise it is so dim in there for them. That light goes off at 2:45pm. Just in time for them to start roosting.I found 11 today....a month ago, I was lucky to get 2. They'll start...unexpectedly...or they'll hide them from you...
You have never heard me singing to the 'time thieves' before? I have a few videos doing thatThis is the first time I've ever heard your voice (gosh I missed out), but regardless, I'm glad to see them growing.
Old wet horse blanket - ewwwww! My biggest issue with my house is ants. They seem to be here all the time! Ant Mildred makes nice cookies, and ant Barb likes the chickens, but ant Veronica smells like an old wet horse blanket!
I know right? hahahaha and their little fluffy tails hahaha.Their little fluffy pants
Yes they drive the cats wild. Usually I get woken by the cats to find the poor exhausted bat hanging from the curtain pole.Yes that is correct - rodents are more likely to be eaten way before they 'catch' anything.
So bats in the belfry is it? Have had a bat in here once, at the time I had 5 cats - it was chaos with them all chasing and leaping and jumping at the poor thing. I managed to get it in a table cloth and pitch it outside.
Now I would make sure to see a Dr if I had to do that again.
