Sick chick?

One of my four two-week old Isa Brown chicks is about half the size of the other chicks and has wings twice as long. She eats and drinks, but not as much as the others and sleeps a lot more. She's very prone to falling over or losing her balance. What could be wrong, and is there something I can do about it?

Hi! Welcome to BYC!

I hatch a lot, and get one like that every so often. I had two a couple of weeks ago, ironically from the same chocolate hen. I held them back (sold the rest). I mixed raw egg yolk with some drops of NutriDrench in it and fed them both some of this by holding the needless syringe to their right side of their beak. One wound up lunging toward it the second time I did it and drank from it straight on. I did that a few times a day for two days. I gave them their own brooder, made them mash, and put a little NutriDrench in their water. They did what yours did, as far as seeming tippy, not sure on their feet.

I think they are potential FTT chicks (failure to thrive), except we try.

It is now two weeks later, and I put them with the chicks that hatched yesterday. Oddly, they're very close to the same size, but now, they are the leaders there, in eating the mash, drinking the water, etc. By all accounts, they are fine.

Thank you so much Debbie!
A few questions...
-What do you make the mash out of?
-Is it okay for the other chicks to drink the water with NutriDrench in it? It's one chick of twelve.
-How long should I keep giving her mash and water with NutriDrench in it?
