Two weeks ago, I bought 3 pullets from a friend. I have them quarantined in a separate coop from my existing flock, about 20 yds away for 1 month. When I got them, I noticed they seemed to have irregular BMs. They were showing some of the signs of Coccidiosis, so I treated them with Corid. I followed up that treatment with Nutri-Drench. Here we are at 2 weeks, and they still have diarrhea but with no other symptoms. What am I missing? Is there anything else to treat them for? I will not be adding them into my existing flock until I figure it out. Please help!

Call around for a vet who will test some droppings for worms and coccidiosis with a fecal float. How old are they? What are you feeding? Is it hot there, and are they drinking a lot of water? That could make droppings runny. Check your feed to see if it has probiotics. Those can help get the good intestinal bacteria built up again. Try a little cottage cheese to help firm up poops. Consider worming if they are old enough. Valbazen and Safeguard Liquid Goat Wormer or horse paste are food ones.

Thank you for the info!
They are around 4 months old. I feed them Scratch & Peck grower feed with brewer's yeast and DE added in. That is the same I feed the others. I am in Central Texas where the weather has been pretty mild the past 2 weeks. They don't drink more water than what I would consider "normal".
I have some Pro-biotic water additive - should I go ahead and try that, then try worming?

Probiotics would be good to use a couple of days a week. Plain unsweetened yogurt has some. Are they acting normally and eating normally?

Thank you! Other than being completely terrified of me (I can tell they weren't hand raised haha), they are acting very normal! Just the BMs that are very strange.

You can post pictures of droppings here. Why are you using DE in their feed? It does not work as a wormer when wet. Although some feeds may list DE as an ingredient in some feeds as a drying agent, I wouldn’t use it, since DE can cause breathing and eye issues. Here is a good article about the risks/benefits of DE:

I have been told by several people that it can be used as a parasite deterrent when used at 2% in their food. As well as other dietary benefits. You are the first that has told me this, so I will be sure to follow your link and do some research!
