I just raise show silkies and never crossed them, but that cockerel you have is absolutely stunning! The pullets are so cute too!

Some folks like to call this cross Polkie!

I don't have them.. all first generation crosses (from the stated pairing) will be hard feathered.. but cross back together or to the original Silkie parent you may get some silkie feathered offspring.

Thank you for that. I was curious about crossing back. I will be on the look out come spring for thier eggs. Can't wait to see how they will turn out.
