Silkie Help

Okay, then I'd probably just follow through and try the Apple Cider vinegar mixture, my friend used ACV with some herbs since they have their own healthy properties as well to help.
I hope this will help for your silkie peeps, keep me updated to see if there's any progress or an other ideas!!

Yes, the human version. I needed it for some chicks that got into the oyster shell and now have leg issues. Hubby picked some up for me and it's Spring Valley brand but says Super Vitamin B-Complex. I think it's "super" because it's got C and other stuff in it. Dang, now that I read the bottle, it's got calcium in it, doh!!!

Sheesh, just try get the human version of B-complex.
She almost seems off balance.

They are on
Had you mentioned what you feed them? I don't see it but if this is vitamin deficiency, that can come from what is lacking in their feed. It can come from genetics or for other reasons too though.
They eat poulin crumbles. It’s a local feed company. I have been feeding this to all my other chickens for quite some time. The other silkies her age are doing fine. I’m hoping the complex and some electrolytes help her until I can get a vitamin supplement tomorrow

They have several versions of crumbles.

I'm only worried about calcium overdosing since I'm going through that right now. When roosters and non-laying chickens/chicks consume too much calcium, it can cause damage to their liver and kidneys. There's a direct relationship to kidney damage and nerves in their legs. We don't hear about it very much as the little extra most get that shouldn't, don't show symptoms.

It's better to keep the pullets on chick crumbles until they lay, then switch to the all-flock or layer crumbles.

I’m going back to the chick feed. I hope it helps, and it’s not too late

I don't think that's what is wrong with yours though...only mentioning it so it doesn't hurt her as she's obviously suffering from something wrong. Hopefully what you're doing will help her get past this. You should see a difference in a couple of days.

I hope so. Thank you for your help!
