Silkie male or female

I brought a silkie pullet at 24 weeks in May s/he looks like this now and I have a horrible feeling I have a cockerel not a hen

 
I think he has started to try I just hope he isn't too noisy I promised no cockerels and I got one by accident. Maybe he and my partridge silkie will make little ones.
 
Well I walked back into my home after 2 weeks and the first thing I heard was him crowing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to use "him" as a broody as well

well I am going to get a couple of black hens as company for him, he has been trying it on with the girls but the only time I saw him try he misaimed and fell on the floor.
 
as long as you are allowed to have a rooster keep him but if you aren't then you need to find him a home asap. roosters will crow whenever they feel like it morning day and night
