So I'm thinking about buying some eggs. Silkie eggs. One of the colors Id be getting are lavender. Although the breeder said there is a chance of some NN, as they are in the breeding pen. Hypothetically speaking, If I got all NNs, would they throw all NNs if bred? Or if they had "regular" silkie in their genes, would I get both? Or would the two NN Gene cancel out normal, with maybe an occasional one off regular?

Even writting this makes me think I shouldn't get them from this breeder, as I have no desire to breed NNs... I think they're cute, fancy stylish looking little things... But I love poof.

Anyone know egg sellers of lavender regular puff ball silkies? Not hatchery websites please... I'm looking for good type. I have seen other breeders but always looking. Planning batches, adding colors, new blood etc... So if you know someone with good type and color.. message me please and thank you. Even other colors, too.

And yes, I know what time of year it is and many great breeders with great types still sell eggs. And many people still hatch them, thiS time of year. :old but I'll be hatching in spring and on as well, so looking for those I probably haven't seen in Google searches.

Thank you kindly.

If you breed silkie to nn, you get a mix of silkie and nn. If it's nn to nn, you'll get mostly nn but some silkies. Nn to nn can also cause them to be too naked.

Yeah, I did. Emailed with them a bit. I really like some of the types, body shape, etc, that they have...ie #2 picture, that little paint with the heart shape. Stunner.
I like those guys too, but I'm looking for a specific colored Silkie too. I want cuckoo Silkies, & don't know where to find any, plus I don't want to pay an arm, & a leg for a few. Know anybody?

I'm not sure if it's the type your looking for but Aprils Silkies has some for sale on her Facebook page. I would assume beaks and feet are off on this color. But I know nada about cuckoo's but do come across them.
