In the Brooder
Of our grown chickens, we have a Silkie (Roo) and two Hampshire Red (hens). All the rest of ours are chicks.
Well, apparently he bred, and so far today we've had 7 chicks hatch (our first chicks conceived, sat on, and hatched here on our farm!).
The girls are broody side by side (both went broody about the same time, too!), sitting on a bunch of eggs still, more to come. There's an odd little couple, that's for sure.

I'm really curious to see what these chicks end up looking like. It's going to be an interesting cross.
