hmm, if someone got something like that from me I would be very interested....
 
Silkie IS recessive. There is evidence of silkies popping up as a sport in many breeds of chickens and even other species of birds (although I am sure that that is from a different gene

Interesting... so it could be a random genetic mutation and NOT a cross-breed..... very interesting! I can;t wait to work with these
