is my 3 month old showgirl silkie too small for her age? I feel like she is too small for 3 months. What do you guys think?? The lady I bought her from has her sister who’s the same age I believe, and she’s much bigger than her or at least that’s what it looks like in her pictures she’s shown. She barely turned 3 months

I don’t think she is too small. I have a bunch of 12-13 week old grow outs and she looks very similar to their sizes.
Thank you. I hope so. I just had a white silkie who was around her size when she was 2 months old

She doesn’t look too small, but I wouldn’t recommend comparing even with siblings. They will all grow at different rates just like with people. For example, I’m 5’4 and my sisters are all 5’8-5’10. If she is growing (even slowly), feathering out, eating and drinking she is just fine.

True, my siblings heights and mine are also very different from each other but yeah she is still growing and eating and drinking regularly. She even bullies the chickens older than her. My 6 month old pullets obey her and she’s only 3 months
