Silky chick Doing somersaults

Up date on my girl she’s eating and drinking on her own she still having some issues I’m feeding her scrambled eggs so Would it be ok to put the Nutra drench Vitamin supplement in their water and all of my checks drink it

I don’t take her out of the brooder ever time I do she gets stressed so I’ve decided to keep her in there I’vebeen watching her no ones picking on her if they do I’ll remove her

It is okay to use the NutriDrench on all of them for a few day, but I would try to give them just to her because it could cause some loose poops in them if there is prolonged use. That is because of the other ingredients, not the vitamins. Try to get some vitamin E 400 mcg to use daily in her food, and give a bit of chopped egg mixed with a tiny bit of plain yogurt.

Thank you I have the vitamin E can my other chicks have that also she won’t eat unless the others are eating

They can have the E temporarily, but she needs the whole 400 micrograms herself. Can you mix it into a few pieces of cooked egg, and pick her up to let her eat it by herself once a day? Or place her in a dog crate until she eats the E laced egg or treat?

Just a note: Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin (like vitamin A) and can be overdosed because it is not excreted like the water soluble ones (like vitamin C) Just something to research...

You can sometimes find water soluble E if you look for it. But I would try to just give the extra E to the sick chicken. Vitamins A, D, and E can be overdosed if take in large anounts due to being fat slouble. B vitamins and C are water soluble, so hard to give too much, since it is excreted in the kidneys. But it is good not to go crazy overboard with any vitamins.

Thank you all for the input I’m just giving my girl the vitamin E the other girls are getting a small amount of scrambled eggs at the same time as a treat that seams to be working out .poor baby is so exhausted
