I have an Italian Greyhound, which are commonly considered among hypoallergenic breeds.
They shed very little, and don't require any grooming at all! SO convenient...clean, athletic, and adorable!

I have a 4lb Yorkie poo that is the best little dog ever. He's 3/4 poodle And 1/4 Yorkie. He's good with my kids and actually joins in with their rough play. Doesn't mind tail pulling and doesn't shed! So awesome. He's soon to turn 4. I can also trim and style his hair like he's a troll doll, which is always fun. His flaw is that he's a cat and stuffed animal humper. Him and the car switch sometimes though so I can't blame it all on gizmo.
400

There's gizmo, "his" boy child and a 4 week old meat bird.

Did I mention 0 shedding?... He does have to be groomed though, but not as often as some claim. I let him grow his hair out every winter and sometimes he might 3 or 4 weeks without seeing a brush, but I guess he got the perfect mix of Yorkie smooth and poodle curl because the only mats he's gotten so far to date are suckers and gum stuck in his fur. Again, he's the only small dog that lives children. Not a nippy bone in his body! So sweet and awesome. Knows all the basic commands and all that. He's super smart too, because of the poodle I'm assuming. Yorkies are cute, but not terribly easy to train. My only issue, gizmo thinks he's tough, so he will sometimes start viciously barking and chasing animals that will eat him to pieces. He also does not enjoy the company of other dogs. He doesn't fight, just stays away. If the dog follows him he just climbs up high... He's one of those small dogs... So he hates dogs, but super loves cats. A lot! Anyway enough rambling about gizmo, but he's the most awesome small dog I've ever met. I mean come on, he actually chooses to spend his time with a 4 year old boy...

DON'T far for the "doodles are hypoallergenic" line. I know 5 of them. Only 1 doesn't shed like a lab or golden. The rest need to be groomed but still blow clumps of coat like the non-poodle parent too. There is no rhyme or reason to the dogs since they are just mutts.

Any time you mix a non shedding with a shedding variety you risk the outcome being fuzzy shedding dogs

HEY! I have NEVER EVER seen any of my Labradoodles hair on any of our couches or anything! She might be fuzzy but I dont have to brush her that often because she has HAIR not fur. And they are not mutts... they are Designer breeds... alright, alright, call them mutts but.... never mind
