As the title says, one of my ducks, around 5 weeks old, have been pooping very often and with a very unpleasant smell. His friend, a runner duck has been eating the same thing but she does not have putrid smelling poop and does it far less often. It’s a pekin duck. Very lazy, and very unmotivated unless he sees worms or the hose running, so there isn’t any issue with his appetite, except maybe he chews quite a bit on the puppy pad. Anyone know how to fix stinky poo? I know ducks occasionally have bad smelling poop but because I am having them in my house for the time being, they are stinking up the whole living room, which is just a bit crazy.

Can you post a picture of the poop? And is the duckling exhibiting any other symptoms? What's your brooder setup like? If the poop smelling is the only issue, your options are either change your setup somehow or start transitioning them outside. At that age I would start transitioning them outside. If you can run an extension cord safely to the coop to run their brooder plate (assuming you have a spot separated from the adults for them in their coop assuming you have adults) and the coop is predator proof, you can put them outside now
