I have two snowy mallard hens and they like to fly, so make sure your pen is fully enclosed. They're a super cute bread. I love mine. Where are you getting yours?

A warning..People sell Snowy Mallards as Silver Appleyard Bantams or visa versa...Here no such thing as a snowy Mallard..I have a Silver Appleyard Bantam Hen as a rescue..Here also East Indies are sold as Calls..Need a good eye...

I understand...But to the person with no experience the two breeds are the same..Bantam Appleyard are small too..I have one Hen named Blossom who will be bred to a Call Drake...

I bet she's beautiful girl too. I'm getting mine from a breeder whose retired she is selling me her last trio.. Woot.
I can tell calls... Round head short beak..lol
Appleyard have a distinct look also more like a Pekin...

This is Blossom a Bantam Appleyard Hen..Not a Call Duck.
The other is Apple a Call in Appleyard colour. Not Snowy.

I have a trio of adults and I am currently hatching eggs. I have seven snow ducklings hatched, and one more hopefully. (There's one swedish mix in there.)
