I got 12 serama eggs from an ebay auction. I let them sit pointy side down for 3 days until the new incubator came in the mail. Incu-view delux with turner. Put them in the incubator on June 17th.

I candled on day 8 and couldn't see anything, but we kept up with the humidity and all. I also had an Exo Terra reptile digital thermometer/hygrometer to keep a check on the one on the incubator.

Candled again on day 14 and they looked the same. We still kept up even tho I figured it was not going to go well. I believe yesterday was "hatch day" (correction: "supposed to be" hatch day)

I really wish I knew what we did wrong.

I don't remember if I rotated them in those first three days because I thought I was supposed to keep them pointy side down.
I will open them tonight when I get home from work. I will try to video them.

Sorry to hear that. What were your temps throughout incubation?

I would crack them open and see if any started developing. If none started, I would blame the eggs themselves.

You should turn the eggs when waiting for them to go in the incubator but I almost never do this and have had no problems. However- I believe it is more important to do this with shipped eggs.

There is so much different information out there. The most consistent information I've gotten from the people I purchased eggs that had to be shipped from is to rest them for 24 hours pointy side down but rotate them from leaning on one side to leaning on the other. What I do is put them pointy side down in an egg carton and prop one end up and then just swap whichever end is propped up twice a day. I'm still new at incubating though, so I'm not advising either way. I was just curious as to your process during storage.

Shipped eggs should not be turned, they need to rest for at least 36 hours so that the air cells can stabilize.

Oh geez I totally posted above you saying to turn shipped eggs. I apologize for that bad advice. I haven't used shipped eggs in years so I guess it slipped my mind.

I was always told to wait 24 hours for the air cell to settle and then after that to turn frequently each day until setting the eggs.

I apologize for my previous post- derp.
