Soundproofing Coop

Has anyone effectively soundproofed their coop? I live in a residential area where we can't have roosters, but I think some of my new chicks may be roosters. I want to keep them, but only if I can find a way to soundproof my coop so I don't disturb my neighbors. Does anyone know of anything that works? The pic is just one of my girls - it made me include a pic!

There's no way to sound proof a coop without making it airtight as well.
Can you post pictures of their faces and ages?
Don't count on keeping any cockerels until their real personality comes out after 6 months, hormones and genetic predisposition take time to surface.
Pro tip: don't let them ride on your person, that teaches them disrespect for you and a good way to get stabbed in the eye by a poop covered nail.

That one is actually a hen in the photo if it makes any difference. She is very sweet! I’m more so worried about finding someone to take the roosters, as I know I am not comfortable culling them. I don’t have pictures at the moment because I don’t have my phone on me, but they are just over 12 weeks old right now.

Sound proofing a coop would basically remove all ventilation and it would be very unhealthy for your chickens. Ventilation is very important in all seasons.

Hopefully you don't have any cockerels but if you do and you can't have them in your area, I would rehoming the confirmed males earlier rather than later. Especially if you're not comfortable culling.

You can upload pics to either this thread or under the topic "what breed or gender" and someone should be able to tell the sex of your chicks since they're 12 weeks old.

It doesn't make any difference for the shoulder riding, no. Both have claws.
Ok, keep us posted. :]
