So in short, Mufasa and Scar ( Well actually Takka, which was his original name) were best brothers, until Mufasa betrayed him and fell in love with the girl Takka liked. That led to Takka betraying him to the enemy lions. In the end, Takka saved Mufasa’s life, but it was never the same again.
