Over 8 years ago I had 6-12 girls, then my (now ex) wife decided to find a boyfriend and divorce me after 20 years of marriage.
I was lucky enough to find an amazing woman and we have been married 3.5 years and are very happy together. We've been talking about chickens the last 3 years and now have started the process. She went to Rural King and came home with 6 girls and we are excited.
They've survived 2 overnights so far, nobody has pasty butt and the are generally active and quiet.
We keep them in a closet away from our full blooded bird dog Zóra, who is highly interested and has lunged at them a couple times. This will be interesting to see how it pans out.
