Still ISO Lavender Marans

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some Lavender Marans hatching eggs. I know Mt. Healthy has chicks but I’d love to hatch some myself

I couldn't find many eggs. I found some, but they were usually out of stock and not available for a while. If you could do other colors we could find some eggs! I think that chicks may be a good option because no one has been able to help you (i know you posted another thread asking for them in May 2024). Mabey post on a local Facebook group? Or you could do blue marans?

Yeah, that’s what I was finding. There were two different breeders on the west coast but one doesn’t breed anymore and one has listed them. I do have a Blue Cuckoo Maran and she’s lovely

Oh yeah! Well maybe you could try and find some maran breeders on Facebook and dm them. I have found some good breeders that sold me some nice birds by doing that!

FB is so rough because there’s a huge influx of scam pages that’s why wanted to check here. I did find one but haven’t heard a response yet. Fingers crossed! I guess I could order chicks to be delivered about the time my others hatch.

Oh yeah ive heard about it! I personally havent run in to any, and i think if you are careful you can fine some! I have asked for where to meet, pictures of their coop, etc. I also only do local. I have gotten two batches of silkies from facebook and they were wonderful!

You may have already found some by know but I just ordered Lavender Maran hatching eggs from Seeking Eden Permaculture. You can find her on FB. They shipped fast and she did an excellent job packaging them.
