Believe it or not, increasingly looking like the snow line will be SOUTH of us - though National Weather Service has one model that puts us at 40% chance for 2-4" if everything goes right (or wrong, depending on your viewpoint)

so far. Snow, if we get it, isn't expected 'til mid day. Right now, it feels warmer than yesterday, though its 10 degrees colder - no wind, lower humidity.

Water lines are buried at least 2' or heated. Everything is PEX. On that front, we are good, TY!

We have many inches of snow - water to the well pump briefly froze solid - that's fixed and we have running water again. Everyone is bedded down for the night (animals) and look comfy. They've had extra food for two days, and there's plenty of straw, too.

one of my relatives just wrote me in Facebook, "be glad its not -3".

You really have no idea. -3 would kill a lot of people in Florida.
