Nope. And that's just the way I love it

Actually, one of the turkeys has bumblefoot it's being treated none of the turkey eggs that have been set for the last month successfully hatched and the incubator because it stopped turning ruined the last batch of chickens I was trying to hatch oh and it looks like we have a trash panda stealing eggs otherwise things going great could be a lot worse

For trapping a raccoon, I have used the following for bait:
Marshmallows
Dog food
Canned fish of some kind
Melon

I've had some success with all of them. I've had plenty of failures, too. The melon caught me a wood chuck twice, and a possum once.

I have caught as few as zero and as many as four critters in a week. I don't know what makes for more success... location of the trap? Bait? Luck? Critter inexperience in the world?

I've read and been told that raccoon love, freaking LOVE, marshmallows. I think I've caught one with them; I didn't have any on hand when I caught the rest of them. I might get a bag, next time I'm at the store. They aren't a good bait out in the rain, however. :lau

I wish my trap were just a bit bigger. I put the dish of bait just past the trigger. I keep it as far away from the sides/end as I can. I've found un-sprung traps with the bait dish pulled to the side of the trap. The dang raccoon was able to reach in and snag the dish, pull it over, and grab the bait out of the dish. If the trap were a bit bigger, the bait would be out of reach.

I also put a cinder block (aka, CMU:)) on top of the trap to weigh it down. I've found them sprung, rolled over, both full and empty.
