Strange egg - is this intestine?

While collecting eggs I found this egg. I have no idea what this is, but it does not look go be a part of the egg shell. Any thoughts?? I had an egg bound chicken 3 weeks ago, could this be from her? Her laying has been sparse since. Maybe things are trying to heal?

It looks like some egg material attached, such as an egg with a tail, or some extra membrane attached. It is a glitch in egg production, but could signify a problem. Do you provide crushed oyster shell to help with egg shells? Here is a thread about weird eggs:
