Stringy Meat?

Wondering why did you use a different hatchery?

I wanted to through my local feed store, they wouldn't answer my emails, so I went to a different feed store that could help me. I had a certain time frame that I needed the birds and couldn't wait any more. Next time I'll just order the birds my self.

OP - did you change the way you processed them? Like, the method of dispatch?

The only difference was that we used a plucker this time. Dispatch was the same.

That's really odd. I can't imagine a plucker making them stringy, per se. I could see possibly bruised, but...

I'd still probably assume it was the strain of them.
