Suggestions on showing?

Here are the birds my children will be showing at the fair. Any suggestions on what they should focus on. I want them to do their personal best. They range from 9 to 16 fair age.

I know they need to know their bird very well but if you guys have any extra suggestions about their specific bird based on these pictures that would be great help.

And should we clip this ones Spurs?
