Mine didn't start to lay until month 8

I am new to Chickens and hope that you will be tolerant of New Bees. I have a little hen supposedly a Standard size and I purchased 7 more all of which died within a day they came to me. That is only one is still alive.

1 Can you make out if the little one in my hands is a boy child or girl child.

2 the older one again is it a he or she

3 I know that the oldest one is a hen that I am desperately looking for a Husband for.


She is miss Jackie . She is two and lays an egg every day . I surly would love for her to raise one clutch.

I would say a hen also. You can look for stringy type feathers at the back of the head at the bottom. She is a mix. and does not appear to have the Falcon feathers on her legs above the feet. Very pretty color.

I am trying to find a pullet for my Sultan Rooster. I would to breed some pure Sultans.

I'd say it's a hen- and she's going to be laying soon- that's why the comb is red. What an interesting color!
