I lived in Rochester, Minn and then in Pine City.
I am back in Wisc where I was born.
not liking this winter. come to think of it, I didn't like the last twenty or thirty winters gone by either.
at least I don't have any animals anymore. that makes the winter easier.
my good neighbor plows the snow for me, so I don't have to even start up my tractor.
I spent most of this winter making wine and home brew. doing a little baking and cooking a pot of chili once in awhile.

Hello all! My husband and I are looking to make the move back to MN (I'm originally from there) and are looking for some advice..We both work remote, so commuting isn't an issue for us. We're looking for somewhere that has good schools (we have 2 elementary aged kids) and that allows chickens. We've been looking more on the northern side of the cities area. Thanks!

10 below zero this morning. but the weather guy said we are in for some warmer weather,.
Sure. just when I was getting used to the cold.
A lot of local people are selling eggs. I guess the chickens are starting to lay again. the prices are a little higher than usual, but still better than at the stores,. I think we all should buy local and let the stores eat their eggs,.
I have lots of projects I want to do,, only they are all outside projects, ,I am getting weary of sitting around and waiting for spring.
