Hello, all!
Posting for a friend. After watching a lightweight Ameraucana land roughly off of a roost one morning my friend noticed her lying down a lot and holding up one foot, then noticed her lil feet were swollen, bilaterally but one slightly more than the other. I dropped by and checked and I'm honestly not sure what this could be other than soft tissue damage with swelling. Raised areas are hot to the touch and soft/fluid-filled, no sign of bumblefoot. I feel she is a touch underweight compared to other Ameraucanas. I saw a response by @Eggcessive offering ideas for swollen feet and wound love to learn! For now I wrapped them like I do for bumblefoot for support and she seems to be walking better.
Thanks for any advice!
