I think my 7 week old Wyandotte has an infection. Will medicate food help clear it up? If I need a certain antibiotic can i get that at the feed store?

Left ear, you can see there is some brown in the feathers. They are still in the brooder, so they have close quarters and it may be poop?

Right ear looking normal.

I would put some hydrogen peroxide into the ear, clean it out with a Q-Tip, then fill the ear canal with Neosporin or other antibiotic ointment. Amoxicillin or Clavamox, or Bactrim from a vet would be best to treat, but it won't be in the feed store. Oral penicillin if your feed store has it would work, but I probably wouldn't try penicillin injections on a chick.
