Hi everyone im building a coop for my chicks and i cant afford siding and i was wondering of only putting Tar paper or tyvek homewrap which one will last me longer being exposed ro the weather

It will also be exposed to your chickens, who will chew it up and maybe eat it. Also, you need actual wood walls for your coop, preferably two layers, to keep out predators.
Look on craigslist, and at the Habitat Restore, and consider free wood pallets, or stuff on sale at lumber yards. Slab wood from sawmills. Old signs.

I have seen tar paper cabins and camps that have stood the test of time for decades. Tar paper has been on the market a long and is still used a lot today. Where cost is an issue I would go with tar paper. I doubt chickens will bother the tar paper where it is on the outside of the proposed coop.Tar paper or tyvek
