So I cant fins to much info on these guys, but does anyone have a picture of their grown Tetra Browns?!
400

This is what they are suppose to grow to just wondering if they really do?

They are a red sex link, so yes, that is a general idea of what they should look like at maturity though the balance of red and white can vary from one bird to the next.

Tetras come from a 40 yr. Old company in Europe. They have an information website called Tetra Americana. It includes management sheets on each variety. They are a purpose bred breed , not just mutt chickens. There is a US company selling their birds here. I don't know if they are importing or hatching eggs or

Whether they got a foundation flock from tetra and are breeding their own tetras here in the US. Anyway, nice to know this breed is purpose bred with a long history,. Not just any old mutt chickens. Best, Karen P.s. yes, it is americana not ameraucana. Because they sound the same, I think sometimes buyers and sellers get confused.

I just bought a few from TSC today. I'll try to keep posted on how well they do for me. Put me in mind of golden comet chicks right. Seem really light colored.
I got one from TSC a week ago and when I started to pick up a golden comet chick today that was exactly my thought. I ended up not going with the comet. I'm loving my Tetra girl though she's adorable and very friendly!

Tetra brown are commercial chicken. See Tetra Americana website. Not ameraucana, it's Americana.
Best,
Karen
