Texas Naturals vs New Country Organics

Good Morning All,

It's a beautiful morning just south of Houston TX. Nothing like a cup of coffee, a little front porch sitting watching the sun rise and the girls run around the yard....

To the point... so I've been feeding the girls NCO (new country organics) since they were chicks. None of the local feed stores carry it. While I was getting dog food the other day the guy at the feed store said he can't get NCO but he can get Texas Naturals, he just doesn't carry it in stock because no one else really asks for it. But if I wanted it he would carry it. It's about the same cost as the NCO. The NCO is (or atleast the Non soy Layer) actual grains where the TN is only pellets or crumbles. The only other advantage is I can get it on the way home and not wait 2 days for delivery.

I've looked at the labels and there is only about a % + or - at most between the two in any given line. With that said i can read the labels all day but im not super well versed in chicken nutrition. I just want a solid organic non soy/gmo feed. So I'm wondering if any of yall have a preference?

Thanks,

WW

Don't have experience with either feed but if you looked at the nutrition labels and they're pretty similar, should be fine to feed either one. Though one advantage with the pellet or crumbled feed is you can be sure the chickens are getting full nutrition from it, as they can't pick out favorite pieces of food.
