Yes! Excellent description for Cara Cara! No one like them, but a beautiful bird. Far right corner, he fought coop for 30 minutes, trying to break thru wire.

As you can see, lots of places for anything to hide, the flock free ranges from dawn to dusk and all return to coop except my 2 wild child's, they sleep in barn on hayrack (my newest problem child's). Wild as March hares, they finally learned what chicken feed is and empty the feeder daily. Beautiful morning

Matejka, perhaps your coop is a bit too conspicuous out in the open? Any chance it could be relocated underneath those live oaks (?) behind that cattle chute? Just a suggestion...
No, Not our property. However, there is an old OLD coop behind the chute I am contemplating using. You can see it in pic. It has 2 large tree limbs lying on top of pen and many rotten boards etc....
