Texas

A happy white morning to you!

Freezing rain has stuck. Snow still slowly drifting down.

5 year old puppy had never seen snow and was bounding around in the little bit on the ground. The other dogs weren't impressed and tried to go right back to bed. Not a bad idea really.

The bananas are gone for this year. They just reached 15 feet after the last freeze. Ho hum.

Chickens aren't a fan of the snow but my dog sure is!

Snow in Seguin too. Kiddos loving it.

I got my new birds in last night in the middle of sleet. We just put them in transport crates and kept them in the garage last night. Got them after dark.. wife took em to the ranch this morning and put em in the coop. So far so good.

I'm a BCM, EE, OE daddy now. Time to get a bigger coop built asap again cuz chicken math is gonna come quick. The coop is a tight fit for 7 birds. I still want good cream leg bars tho. Doing the dark egg, blue egg, green egg, olive egg thing with this new flock...

Last I had birds.. 8-10 years ago.. I tried out ALOT of breeds.
