How exactly does one make smoked eggs? ()

Whenever my husband fires up the smoker I boil and peel a bunch of eggs, then stick 'em straight on the grate wherever there is room between the meat. The longer you leave them on, the smokier tasting and more rubbery they'll get. I like them best when they're really dark and rubbery.

This one technically has goslings, they are just kinda hard to see
