THE chat thread

Good question!! Dobermans are much more closely bonded to one person, and malinois and German shepherds are smaller. Even though Dobies are not as big as I like them, at least SOME of them can be bigger than GSDs or mals. And I kind of like the shorter hair
Ahhh okay that makes sense I guess LOL that said, some of the GSDs and especially Mals and Dutchies can be one person dogs as well to the point of being nearly impossible to rehome after a certain point and possibly biting the potential new owners. 🙈 it all depends on the lines and the individual dogs lol the ones I’m referring to are working lines and also very “hard” dogs they call them I think. But idk if you want a “hard” dog as they can be more of a liability and, well, harder to work with LOL but yeah.

HI BESTIE!!!! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!🥹

So… if you had to pick between the two, would it be a Doberman or Cane Corso?

And, no pressure, but this determines if I think of you “:loveBESTIE:love“ or “:tongueformer-bestie:tongue
Doberman ofc. Easier to get, easier to train.

YOU JUST DONT UNDERSTAND!! YOU THINK YOU CAN GET A CANE CORSO TO DO A COMPETITIVE STYLE FOCUSED HEEL? Going from a golden to a Cane Corso would be a huge downgrade for me, even though I much prefer the size. Dobermans are way more trainable and higher drive than mastiff breeds.
I want a doberman as a protector more than a show dog personally. Im going to be a lawyer, so i'm going to have to live somewhere near a city or in one, and having a doberman would make me feel safe. Plus, they are absolutely gorgeous.
I do like cane corsos because they supposedly tend to pick one owner and are very loyal to that one owner, like pyrenees, which i like.
