The EE braggers thread!!!

Some of my girls do that too...hilarious! How much is 68 g in ounces? The biggest EE egg I've gotten was today and it was 2.2 oz.

If you put this in Google:
68g is how many oz

the first thing it gives you is a conversion app.

2.2 oz = 62.4 oz which is USDA Large. The sizes are in 7 gram steps:
Jumbo > 71 g
XLarge > 64 g
Large > 57 g
Medium > 50 g
Small > 43 g
Peewee > 35 g

The largest any of my 3 June 2015 EEs have laid is 60 g from 2 of the girls. The other has been laying in the lower end of Medium, but she is laying 1 more egg per week (5.7) that the other two so on pure weight, she is putting out more egg.

I took a picture of the eggs my 4 EEs laid on the 11th and 12th: The big one second from the left is from the 3.5 Y/O girl. Seems a lot bluer than I remember her laying. Markings are the hen's name, day of the month and weight in grams.
