Okay, here is my answer.

What kind of feed to you use for your chickens?

I use Pellet feed.

Bonus:
How many and what breed of chickens do you have?

I have 19 chickens, and the breeds are Barred Rocks, Isa Browns, Americaunas, and Mix of Barred Rocks and Isa Browns. ( I hatched the mix breed.)

Tomorrow I will do the next two questions so don't forget to look again!

Side note: I will not be posting questions of the day on Sundays, and maybe not on Saturdays. I will tell you if I have a vacation, cause then I would not be able to post either.

What kind of feed do you use for your chickens?
I have a large feeder (and a second smaller one) with 20% all flock pellets that they have constant access to but I also give them 1.5-2 cups of a feed mix that I started making for them.

How many and what breeds of chickens do you have?
6. they are all in my signature :)

Just curious, why do you do meat hens?
And is your flock one encaged all the time?
Like, do they get grass?

We don’t do meat hens they are just pets, I don’t think I could ever do that, I get too attached to them 😂
They are engaged all the time, we let our last flock free-range sometimes, and they started constantly pacing wanting to be out of the cage. Our hens are content with their cage, we pick them clovers, dandelions, and other plants, so they do get stuff.

Sorry, I miss understood. That is wonderful!
I couldn't handle having meat hens either. I do wish though that I could have indoor chickens. 😊
