Kylan watched her, shaking his head a little. "Ari, you are insanely hyper, you know that?"
Lilith shrugged, reverting back to an old habit of running her fingers through her long locks of black hair, but lowering her hand and staring at it blankly after realizing its metal components now inhibited her from feeling anything with it. "I don't know, man. What I meant was, that still seems like a profound impact on your life." She muttered, not looking away from her hand. "You asked why it's today or whatever that we reverted back to, maybe it's because it's the most impacting day for us." She offered dully.
Torin came up beside him, wincing at the noises. "It is." He muttered, glancing around nervously.
He gripped his pickaxe tighter, before drawing it above his head and slamming it down into the rocks beside him. "Like that...?"
Kevin frowned, looking down at the necklace. “You’re right, I guess it was.” He said softly. He was trying to think of a different day, like when he got his powers, or when he found out he was going to be an uncle, but the failed marriage proposal was the biggest, in terms of importance. He wished everything would be a dream, and that he would wake up next to his partner and laugh at the strange dream he had.
But it felt all too real. Normally if he acknowledged he was dreaming he would wake up, but that wasn’t happening.
