So, to shut the laptop down, first close your browser. I think alt+fn+F4 will close it on a IdeaPad, due to the way it binds keys.

From there, CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and use the tab key to navigate to the power icon. From there, use the arrows to select shut down, and then turn it back on after.

Went to settings and found the touchpad on and off button
