All the modern (2015-present) books that I've looked at seem to be pretty bad... I am reading The Silmarillion over and over and over again to satisfy my bookworminess.

I use to read 50-100 books a year but then I ran out of books 1-2 years ago and have only read like 3 that I didn't have to for school

I read almost every single Boxcar Children book. Digitally.

They're almost all the same basic plot.
