These were cheap. That's why I splurged for the oem with gold outlined bowtie. It's not a rifd or chip or whatever key.
My truck is. I discovered I flat lost my only key to it one Saturday morning when I was getting ready to go to work. I had to have a locksmith come out and make and program a key.
I think it was $200 plus $79 for a second one plus a days wages lost. Hence why I'm getting a second and third. I learned.
My key fob thing doesn't work at all either. Maybe I should get a couple of those too. Lol
