We needed it but I wish that we would get more slow, light rains. We always seem to get gully washers and then there is so much cleanup. It blew into the runs and I had to dump the feed and clean and dry my feeders. Fortunately I was expecting rain so I didn't fill them too full yesterday.

Sometimes Mother Nature seems to swerve from one extreme to the other. Maybe she's been testing an early batch of egg nog?
