Have you tried zipping it on to see if it will conform to the square sides? It probably won't, but just to be sure.

Sorry you got sent the wrong thing. I hate it when that happens. We made a cat house out of an old styrofoam cooler. It wasn't the prettiest thing, but it worked. I guess you could decorate it.

The zip for the roof was also very frail and there was no way of doing it because it would have been misshaped and not comfortable for him to lay inside.
