No snow here, but at least it isn't raining!

Will be a few weeks yet because of my owee but I’m anxious to give it a try.

Speaking of dog 'owees'. About a year ago our granddaughter was attacked by a loose dog. Dog tore muscle out of her arm, thigh, and buttocks. Injuries were so serious they could not be sutured, and she had to go to a wound repair hospital over several months. Just received a $375,000 court settlement which she will never see as the people have fled town. She by the way is doing fine and has even run a marathon.

What a scary, horrible thing for your granddaughter to go through. Glad she's ok now.

If two good samaritans hadn't stopped and pulled the dog off of her while a third ran into a pet shop and got a leash to put on the dog, she very well might have been killed. Scary time indeed.
