She was found about 10 miles away. The young man who caught her took her to his parents house because of the cold weather that was coming. His mom put it on fb and other people tagged me.That's great to hear! Where was she?

She's adorable. Looks like she's settled in already. What a cutiepie.Thank you. I hope your daughter finds her dog, Sour. I am going to sleep like a baby tonight. Its that not knowing that hurts. This girl is too thin and has some bare spots but we will have her healthy before long. She has obviously lived the high life sometime in the past.

Be prepared. It will fit more frequently in the future.Hi Jen, I've used that lost marbles in the past when it seemed to fit (it fits surprisingly often).
Brought a tear to my eye. Miss Maggie Mae was our last dog for entirely too short a time.We have named her Maggie.
You too Jen!Good morning, IM! I agree, Debby's comment made me laugh, too! I hope you have a great day!
NPR had a segment today about a dog that was found by a pet recovery service. They found the dog, with a broken leg, a mile from home under a tree. They used thermal imaging. There was an outdoor concert in the area when she disappeared. If she is still alive someone has her. Hopefully some day a vet will scan for a chip.
Daughter and SIL utilized drone searches, thermal imaging, tracking dogs and every facebook group within 350 miles of her loss. No signs of her or her body leading hopefully to the possibility that someone had taken and was caring for her. Although she is microchipped, she had no collar with contact information.NPR had a segment today about a dog that was found by a pet recovery service. Great news!2nd good morning.
I'm full of good news this morning.
1. Emily, my granddaughter, who expecting a baby girl in March, is honoring me by naming her Violet Jane. (Gramps, Jim, is getting a lot of mileage out of that by saying Violent Jane. Ha)
2. My youngest Son & wife are expecting their first baby in July. We found out, yesterday, that she is a girl! They say Emily stole the name they had picked out.
3. Someone contacted me last night and they have the stray boxer that we tried to take in, in September. I am so thrilled because I've been worried to the point of sleeplessness. I'm going to pick her up this morning.
Thanks! The weather was pretty good. It didn’t affect anything we wanted to do. The thunderstorm hit around 7:30 that night. The humidity kicked my butt.Yes, that's a great photo. It sounds/looks like the weather held out better than you (or at least the weatherman) anticipated? Besides that thunderstorm, anyways. I'm glad the trip was a success. Did ya bring some sand with you back in your luggage? That's always fun.
I like that name.We have named her Maggie. The youngsters will all be close, though my granddaughter lives in Arkansas, and her uncle's family is in Colorado.
