Good morning to you all! It was a stormy night with the tornado sirens going off at 1am. Rain will continue throughout the day and into the weekend. Guess I'll keep our life jackets handy.

I bet you're looking forward to a sunny weekend! That should take care of some of that snow.

There's a flood advisory for 12 counties (including mine). I'm not too concerned about our town, but DH is keep an eye on the basement...the sump pump has been running continuously since yesterday. Fingers crossed that pump holds out.

I am. We are 2 hours late today. I think there were a lot of angry people yesterday due to not calling school off.
I hope your pump holds out too.

It's understandable why people were angry about yesterday. A foot of snow should have been enough of a reason to call off school. Crazy to expect people to get out in that.

I think those days are gone. I remember being spanked on my first day of school because I was crying. I hated school.

I used to get in trouble at school because I wouldn't talk to anyone. Those days are long gone!

I’ve lost my mind.
We have a Kindergartener that doesn’t talk much. He is the sweetest kid. Every once in a while he asks a question or will say something.
I’m a yapper too…in person. I hate typing. I try and make it short.

I don’t think so. The highways are ok. The gravel is just awful. The neighbor got stuck in his driveway. Hubby was cleaning out the yard and headed over there to help. If I can get through the half mile of slush up to the highway I’ll be fine.
