The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good day everyone! Sorry I've meant to stay caught up better, but lots of shearing and driving. (My sister doesn't drive or that would be a good time to catch up!)

We are back in Utah. I'm in the pickup while the crew finishes the last run for the day. My sister's sheep kicked her handpiece into my knee (I'm just grateful it didn't hit my sheep) so I went to quick care and got some staples (not too many since it was only a couple centimeters.)

I came back and shore for a few hours but the sheep are pretty kicky so my shearing contractor said it's cool to let the sheep stop kicking my knee (it's like they know!) and give it a break to see how it feels tomorrow.

Anyways, sorry for the chapter! Gah, not always trying to share my bad luck; mostly things are working out! I hope your Tuesdays are all wrapping up nicely! It's always nice to see how you are all doing!

Are weekend tacos different from Tuesday tacos? 🤔
Not if you are retired. If you are still working you have lunch tacos on Tuesdays. They're smaller, often from a fast food joint, and they don't come with the rice and refried beans. So, now you know why retirement is wonderful, especially on Tuesdays.

Yikes! That sounds painful.
I hope your knee heals quickly, especially since you are doing the driving.

Hi Jen, good to hear from you! Yikes, sorry about your knee, hope it feels better asap. When do you get to go back home and catch up on your rest? Are you having good weather?
