If only....

It just takes time I had two EE pullets who absolutely hated my guts and would stay far away from me. Over time, they grew to like me, as I just spent hours out there with them. Now they’re the worst and will mob me and jump on my back any chance they get Some stay skittish no matter what you do to them though. My Welsummers will never warm up to me.

Thought I should join
I have a flock of around 30 chickens
Mostly EES and silkies, other then that I have orpingtons, a black copper marans, a Wyandotte, and some more mixes.

I almost bought an Ayam Cemani pullet from a nearby breeder...but I just couldn't justify buying an expensive bird that lays 70 eggs per year. My hens are for eggs and entertainment and I don't show them. Can somebody convince me I need her?

I hatched some cemanis all were cockerels and i couldnt keep them but i enjoyed having them.

My oldest chickens i got in 2022. I had chickens before that but with a limit i had gotten rid of them because they were EE and the local fair i couldnt show them. Im showing at a different fair as i have mixes now that i love(they are only chicks but are so friendly)
