Sounds like a lovely flock!! And your naming theme is greatEveryone's flocks are so beautiful! I have 15 chickens.
For hens I have a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte named Margarita, a Rhode Island Red named DixieCup, 2 Green Queens Muckalee and Georgia, 2 Ameraucanas Mama and Peanut, 2 Welsummers Sunburn and Friday, Black Copper Marans Lucchese and Whiskey, a Buff Orpington Dusty, a Barred Rock Senroita, an Ancona Flint, and a White Leghorn named Cottonwood. I also have a Golden Laced Polish named Luke. He's a butthead, but my boys love him and his "long hair".
If you haven't guessed our rooster is named after Luke Bryan, and all the girls are named things he sings often about in his songs. If you have ever listened to Luke Bryan you know you can't make it threw a song with alcohol, we are about 20 miles or less from Nashville so only makes sense to do something with country music!
Thanks! Hoping what he is gender wise? Well a girl would be nice so it can stay I do just tend to default to calling them something regardless of whether it's correct or not If it is a pure Barnevelder then he's sexlinked male... but I have a good feeling he's actually a cross, so normal 50/50 chanceI'm glad he's okay. Thank you! I have been a big fan sense I was a teenager!Sounds like a lovely flock!! And your naming theme is great

Hoping what he is bred wise? I have no preference
I love roosters but I'm beyond my limit right now and can't keep a little crossbreed boy for no reasonI meant gender wise Than I hope it's a girl! If I ever hatch eggs I would probably hope for girls too, we can only keep Luke, and he's enough of a handful.
Wow, I also have a Golden Laced Polish! His name is Cow Bunting. He sure is a handful, and has been really acting up lately, lol.I also have a Golden Laced Polish named Luke. He's a butthead
My boy is soo loud, he crows all the time. Even when we get up at 3am to go hunting he hears us and wakes the ladies up with his crowing. Also anytime the girls sing the egg song, he has to sing along too (part of why we decided on Luke) And he leads them into our woods when free ranging which we would rather them not go.Wow, I also have a Golden Laced Polish!
