We have the old store open back up as they did not sell their building.
Also have kids the other way about same distance 20 minutes 1 way.
If we are in town there is a farm store in old town Chehalis

My chicks arrived this morning and are settled in. No heat needed in the 12x24 sun room when the outside temp is 101°. May have to use some AC.

Our temp dropped from 101 down to 81 two quickly for my nerves. Lots of mysterious sounds came with such a drop so fast. Like the cooler temp but not the speed it came down with.

Last night I had 11 tonight same gals gave me 5 go figure.

Lots to do today. Cooler, pleasant weather. Wish I'd had a better night's sleep, but oh well. I'll have some "brown sleep," aka coffee.

Had storms yesterday and lost power. We were advised they expect to have power restored by Friday afternoon. It left us a little mystified as to what is must important to do first. Opened all our windows & then helped the 90 yr old neighbor open her windows, replaced the batteries in her flashlight. She has no phone-land lines were dead. The ambulance brought oxygen tanks that don't need electric for the lady on the other side of me. We sure depend on electric. Thank the Lord power was restored by midnight!!!!!!

We sure do need the electric 24/7 when people are on oxygen concentraters. Glad my wife has backup tanks at all times. Temps are a nice 75° at the moment but that is because of all the liquid sunshine that is falling at the moment.

Good morning Old Folks getting my second cup now.
We have local pud we rarely loose power in 14 years.
It is wet here also and small rain shower passed in the night.
We will not pass out of low 60's.
